Why Tree Wells?

We love our trees on Broadway, but the Tree Wells are dangerous, they collect water and trash, and worst of all, they can be trip hazards. We found a solution: Flexi-Pave. Environmentally friendly, they still absorb water and are soft and spongy to make them easy to walk on but they keep water and trash from collecting at the bases of trees. Perfect! Rate-payer dollars combined with OIS grant money from SDOT/OED to help fund this multi-year project.
